OCTOBER
We had a great month in the Limes Class! We learned all about Apples and Pumpkins! The pretend play center was set up as a Farmers Market. We practiced buying items at the Farmers Market and working at the Farmers Market. We ended the month celebrating Halloween. The kids had fun trick or treating and visiting the farm. We continued working on shape identification, counting with 1:1 correspondence and identifying numbers. We learned about the letters I, N, B, C and O during literacy group. We continued working on answering WH- questions after reading a story. We have started our new theme "My Country: Yesterday and Today." Our pretend play center has been transformed into a present day kitchen and a kitchen from the past. Students can practice cooking Thanksgiving meals in both kitchens.
